Cast: The CN Series

Hello!  I’ll be posting the actors  that I “cast” in the Comfortably Numb trilogy here.  They will appear in alphabetical order by character first name (following Eric, Sookie, and Appius).  Keep in mind that this page may be considered spoiler-ish.

I hope that the pictures help you to visualize the people in the story!  If you don’t want to risk being “spoiled,” you can continue to enjoy the character banners by Seph that are found with most of the chapters.

  1. Good Morning, kat!

This is really proving to be an interesting atory so far, and I’m intrigued! I love your cast of characters – Jeff Bridges as the family patriarch, Appius! Genius! I did figure out Sookie was a lip reader from the first chapter, and I look forward to reading as to how this came about…perhaps something to do with her beloved Gran? How anyone can see this as a handicap is a mystery to me…but maybe Sookie is the one who’s lost her sense of hearing and has learned to lip read? Once again, a fabulous chapter & great beginning to a story I know many of us are just going to love & mark as “Favorite!”. I simply can’t wait for more – your WordPress site is awesome! I’m going to stick with it instead of FF!

Have a great Sunday, and thanks for a terrific chapter!

    1. Hi! Nice to see you here. I love the WordPress stuff too. I’m pretty visual and I hope that people get more out the story when they can “see” whom I see.
Jeff Bridges has that ability to be a “bad guy,” I think. But he also has that sneaky smile, so you might not know he’s coming when he stabs you in the back.
HOW Sookie became a lip reader will tell us why she finds it such a handicap. It’s something of a “handicap” to her development even now. It would be right to call her “stunted.” But WHY is that? Hmmm…you’ll have to wait for that to be answered.
Thanks so much for following me here and for commenting.
      Kat

  2. Hello again! I love the visuals – they really add to the exciting experience of reading the story; much like TB does with reading CH’s books. Jeff Bridges plays “bad guy” so well, so imagining him as “Appius” in human form is a great addition to the story. I am so looking forward to discovering why Sookie is “stunted” though I have a bit of an idea brewing in my swiss-cheese brain! LOL! Love your stories & your fabulous imagination – I always try to encourage my favorite writers to use their talents to produce their own works – you have it – your skills are above par and I would love to read your own story someday, without CH’s or AB’s characters – change the names & make one of them your own! This story, as it moves along, just might be the one!

  3. This is one of my favorite stories, I look forward to an update every weekend. I love when we get extra chapters!! Such a great job yet again!

  4. I finally found your WordPress site!!!! HaHaHa. Can’t get rid of me!!!! 😀 I am about to start Comfortably Numb and I just wanna say, If I can’t have Eric, Can I have Rasul?!?!?! pretty pretty please. I have sprinkles!!!!! lol

  5. I’ve tried reading this story several times over the years. But, in this first chapter it just hurts my heart reading it. You make the characters seem so real. And, l feel kinda silly crying over stories. But, I’ve also said if stories or songs or movies make you cry then they were really good. Now, I’m going to try and read this story.
