Two-Natured Characters: Original Kat-creations

It’s been fun to create characters in this category because there are so few restrictions for the animals that can be chosen.  I’ve had fun with werebears, a werelioness, and a werebadger.  I’m also beginning to work with various kinds of two-natured birds.

Brady

Brady is one of my favorite added Weres to the TB/SVM world.  So far, he figures into both the UN-iverse and the INNER-verse.   I picture Matthew Bomer when writing him.

Christa Larrabee (werewolf)

I created this character to replace Bobby as Eric’s “day-person” in The Trunk Trilogy and “cast” as Olivia Cooke.  Fun Fact: In Dead as a Doornail, a character named Christine Larrabee is introduced as the wife of the packmaster before Colonel Flood.  She tells Sookie that Alcide brought her to the pack fight (between Jackson and another Were vying to be packmaster) just to make everyone else think Sookie (as a “friend of the pack”) supported Jackson.  My Christa Larrabee is the granddaughter of this minor book character.

Daan (werebear)

This Gift Horse Series character was “cast” as Andreas Wilson.  He is one of the King of Sweden’s guards, tasked with looking after Sookie and Eric.

Dane Mitchell (werewolf)

I “cast” this character from the UN-iverse  as Jason Mamoa.  He’s the alpha of the pack Russell Edgington controls.

Dillon Roth (werewolf)

I “cast” this minor character from the UN-iverse  as Tom Hardy.

Elina (werebear)

I “cast” this character from the UN-iverse  as Tantoo Cardinal.

Henry Thornton / Henry Jiles (werewolf)

Though first seen in the Back & Forth universe, I loved this original character enough to bring him into other stories too.  I visualize Damian Lewis in the role.

Jarod Campbell (Shifter–Lion preference)

When I created this character for the Back & Forth universe, I pictured Hugh Dancy.

Jennifer Robinson-Bellefleur (werebadger)

This character was created to be Terry’s second wife.  She appears in the Back & Forth universe (Part 3: Earned).  I picture Jennifer Connelly for the character.  (Fun fact: this actress was also “cast” as a handmaiden in The Enduring Series.)

Kuruk (werebear)

I visualized this UN-iverse character as Alex Meraz.

Lance Johnston (werewolf)

I visualized this UN-iverse character as Daniel Craig.

Maggie (werewolf)

I had a difficult time characterizing this Kat-creation.  I first used her in the AH (all human) Comfortably Numb world.  But I associate her more with her portrayal in the UN-iverse where she’s Brady’s mother and a Were.  I visualize the actress Cherry Jones for her.

Megan (werehawk)

This Gift Horse Series character was “cast” as Maia Michell.  She helps guard Sookie and Eric in Sweden.

Miranda (werelioness)

I created this character for the Back & Forth world, but liked her so much that she got carried over to the Comfortably Numb universe as well.  My inspiration for her is Julianne Nicholson.

Onawa (werebear/shifter)

I visualized this UN-iverse werebear as Karina Lombard.  I liked her so much that I’m using her as a character in The Trunk too, but I’ve made her a shifter in that one, though her shifting preference is a bear.  🙂

Ray (werewolf)

I visualized this UN-iverse character as Michael Rooker.

Salma (werebear)

This Gift Horse Series character was “cast” as Noomi Rapace.  She is one of the King of Sweden’s guards, tasked with looking after Sookie and Eric.

Scott Cusmano (werewolf)

This Back & Forth universe character was “cast” as Dermot Mulroney.  (Fun fact: I cast the same actor as Calvin Norris in some stories.)

Willow (werehawk)

This character was created for The Trunk Trilogy; I “cast” her as Alexandra Daddario.
