tradlover: NEW BEGINNINGS

Granted, many of you may be familiar with this wonderful story  and this talented author, but I often have to put things onto a “reading list” that I will get to during times when my schedule is less taxing and/or when my own muse wants a “break.”  Recently, I wrote a “shorter” piece called One Night, which picks up early in the books’ timeline.  Many of you liked the fact that picking up early could change so much!  Well–tradlover has written a story that does that even better in my opinion!  This story picks up even earlier than One Night did!  In fact, in it Sookie meets Eric before she meets Bill.  But–more than that–she meets Eric with eyes wide open thanks to the fact that she’s already embraced her fairy side and has been trained to use her gifts.  It is quite satisfying to read about a very confident Sookie who sweeps Eric off of his feet–just as much as he sweeps her off of hers.  If you like the idea of these two forming a relationship based upon mutual respect AND mutual attraction/affection, you should check out this work.  It’s well-written and leaves the narrative open for a sequel, which I very much hope that the author completes.  However, New Beginningscertainly stands up on its own!  I know some of you don’t read on ff.net anymore, but if you do at all, I hope you will check this one out!
