Good morning. I hope I will see many of you here tonight for the episode viewing. Last week, we had some wonderful and unexpected scenes with Eric and Sookie. It looks like Eric’s being taken from the area again, however, which is really sad, given just how wonderful those scenes were.
But I’m still afraid that TIIC gave us Eric and Sookie’s goodbye at the end of last week:
Anyway, let’s get to tonight’s drinking game:
–Drink every time something happens that you truly don’t care about. For instance, a few episodes ago when Bill remembered his family, I found myself not caring in any way, shape, or form–which is sad. You know, I actually used to be “okay” w/ Bill. I thought he was a douche for what he’d done to Sookie, but his character is tragic in a way (in the books too), but the more TIIC try to prop him up and “redeem” him, the less I care about him.
And here’s tonight’s description:
Exhausted from her recent travails, Sookie finds herself the unwilling host of a festive mainstreaming party in Bon Temps. In search of an elusive adversary, Eric and Pam head to Dallas and attend a gala fundraiser. Andy makes a life-changing decision; Jessica and James reach a crossroads; Bill loses himself in remembrance of human days.
Item one: Sookie hosts a part!?!? I bet we’ll hear a bunch of, “I know we’re sad, but we need to remember to celebrate ‘life!'” I wonder if all the Hep-V vamps are gone. Wouldn’t there be more “clusters” of them? Oh, well–let’s party! The band vamp and Arlene need a place to hook up, after all. (Dear TIIC, I don’t need to see the Arlene sex dream, okay?)
Item two: Sarah search–is she really “elusive?” Anyway, Pam and Eric (and probably Willa) will be in Dallas–playing dress up again. Speaking of dress-up, let’s all giggle sigh at this:
Tonight, we’ll get a cowboy hat and a bolo tie.
Item 3: Andy’s life-changing decision. He’ll probably propose to Holly and/or quit being a cop and/or decide to move away from Bon Temps. I couldn’t blame him for any of these things.
Item 4: Jessica and James’s crossroads–since we’ve been getting “hints” hitting us in the head about this doomed relationship for several episodes now, I’m guessing the plug will be pulled.
Item 5: Bill “loses” himself as he remembers his human days! I really wish we could take this literally. I would not mind at all if BILL JUST GOT LOST!
Yep–the episode sounds kind of boring to me too (because of the separation of our main characters AGAIN). Given that TIIC claimed that they were working on re-centering the story, the removal of Pam and Eric from the nucleus is idiotic, but not unexpected. How could Sookie faun over Bill if Eric was in the same zip code?
Even Hep-V’d out, he’s beautiful.
