Story Update: Chapter 46 of The Engine

Hello everyone!

I’ve been enjoying all the comments/reviews that I’ve received on the last chapters. I smile every time one of you communicates with me!

Kleannhouse, the wonderful, has completed the Beta work for all the rest of this story, and she thinks it doesn’t suck! So I’ll be able to continue giving you a chapter every other day or so. 🙂

She also suggested that I remind you of a couple details in this story–since it has been so long since I started publishing it. These reminders relate to Russell and Niall. So–here you go!

  • RUSSELL: In this story, Russell is NOT as old at Appius. In the show, Russell is very old (and crazy and evil), but in the books, it seems like he’s younger (and he’s not insane). I’m definitely going with more of the book version. Russell is with Talbot in this story, but Talbot is a human.
  • NIALL: In this story, the only time we have met Niall is when he visits Russell, with whom he has a friendship. Niall and Russell discuss some visions/warnings that the Ancient Pythoness has told Niall about. To sum it up, Niall has been told by Pythia NOT to intervene in Sookie’s life directly during the time period of this story. He’s been told that his interference will make things worse. That said, he is cashing in a favor from Russell. He tells Russell that Pythia has foretold that there is a moment that Russell will save Sookie’s life, and Niall is asking Russell to fulfill this future-vision as the favor.

Now, to sum up the ages of key people:

  • turned around 1000 BCE: Pythia
  • turned around 750 BCE: Appius
  • turned around 500 AD: Russell
  • turned around 1000 AD: Eric

Story Update: Chapter 45 of The Engine Is Available

Hello! Thanks to all of you who left comments welcoming me back! I appreciate you all so much–more than I can say.

It is very nice to be back, publishing this story. Some of you have asked if I intend to finish my other works. All I can say is that I hope to, but I have to take it easy when my body tells me to. So, no promises–but HOPE. 🙂

As for this story, I have you a chapter today. And I plan to have the next ready for you Thursday or Friday.
