I hope you all had a good week. I have this week’s chapter for you. However, I want to take a moment to thank those of you who are still following my work–and especially sticking with me into the third part of this series. Many of you post comments every time, and I feel like I know you–like you’re part of my writing routine. I still get a lot of pleasure from writing, and I’m honored that many of you get pleasure from reading.
My honor is doubled whenever I hear that a veteran or active service duty soldier is a fan. Along the same lines, I always smile when I learn that my work has helped family members of deployed soldiers pass some time. My father retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force, and I’m very proud of him. He sacrificed a lot of himself as he served, but he found a lot too–in his compatriots. Those who join the military are special. Their families are special.
I will never forget what you all have done for ordinary people like me.
